Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how CVF Web Services may receive, use, protect, and share information from visitors, prospective clients, clients, project contacts, and others who use the website or communicate about website services.
CVF Web Services aims to collect only information reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, evaluate project fit, provide website services, support clients, operate the site, protect against misuse, and maintain ordinary business records.
Information we may collect
Information may be provided through the project request form, email, phone or video scheduling, project discussions, shared documents, website review, update requests, or other communications. This may include name, email, phone number, organization name, website address, project type, budget range, timeline, preferred contact method, call-back request, project details, content, images, branding information, technical information, and other materials submitted for a project.
The website may also collect or receive normal technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, server logs, pages visited, date and time of access, and security-related information.
How information may be used
Information may be used to respond to inquiries, evaluate project needs, prepare estimates, discuss scope, schedule calls, build or update websites, provide support, troubleshoot technical issues, improve the site, maintain records, protect against abuse, and communicate about services.
CVF Web Services does not sell personal client information to advertisers. Information is not intended to be used for unrelated advertising unrelated to the client inquiry or project relationship.
Project forms and sensitive information
The project request form is meant for basic website-service information. Do not submit passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, health records, legal records, trade secrets, confidential client data, or highly sensitive information through the form unless a safer method has been arranged.
If access credentials are needed for a project, a safer method should be agreed upon. Clients remain responsible for changing passwords, protecting their accounts, and limiting access to what is necessary.
Third-party services
Website projects may involve third-party providers such as hosting companies, domain registrars, email providers, form processors, analytics tools, search-console tools, payment tools, content systems, security tools, scheduling tools, stock-asset providers, or other technical services.
Those providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. CVF Web Services is not responsible for every practice, outage, data policy, fee, or change made by third-party providers.
Security
CVF Web Services uses reasonable care in handling project information, but no website, email account, online form, hosting provider, cloud tool, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Clients should avoid unnecessary sensitive information and should use strong passwords and account-security practices.
Security responsibilities may be shared among the client, hosting provider, domain provider, email provider, third-party tools, and CVF Web Services depending on the project.
Portfolio and examples
CVF Web Services may refer to completed public work as an example or portfolio item unless the client and CVF Web Services agree otherwise. Confidential details, private credentials, private communications, and unpublished information should not be shared publicly.
Retention and deletion
Information may be retained as long as reasonably needed for project work, support, records, legal compliance, dispute prevention, security, and ordinary business purposes. Clients may request review or deletion of certain information, but some records may need to be retained where legally or operationally appropriate.
Children
CVF Web Services is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly seek personal information from children. Website-service inquiries should be submitted by adults or authorized representatives of an organization.
Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated as services, tools, forms, or business practices change. Continued use of the website or services after updates means the current policy applies. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
